St. Bernadette Medals

Saint Bernadette is the patron saint against bodily ills, and shepherds Her feast day is celebrated on April 16th.

Saint Bernadette had desired to become a Carmelite nun. It was her poor health that prevented her from becoming one. St Bernadette died at the age of 35 in 1879 while in the convent Notre Dame at Nevers.
