Saint Bridget is the patron saint of healers and Sweden.
The most celebrated saint in the northern kingdoms, St Bridget is also known as Brigit and Birgitta. Coming from a wealthy and religious family, Saint Bridgets religious teachings were carefully orchestrated from the time she was a child. She spent her entire life in religious servitude and believed that Christ Himself had actually appeared to her. She was canonized on October 7th 1391 and her feast day is celebrated on July 13th.
