Saint Benjamin is the patron saint of all those with the name Benjamin and his feast date is celebrated March 31st.
Saint Benjamin was a deacon who was imprisoned for a year because of his faith. As a condition of his release from prison, St Benjamin had to vow never to preach again. Not being able to do so, he was subsequently recaptured and tortured to death.
